Our Process
We follow a meticulous restoration process that involves thorough inspections, careful stripping of old materials, sandblasting and straightening processes. We use only the highest quality materials to revitalize your Zephyr or Merc running boards. Our own blend of rubber has UV blocking agents and added carbon for a lifetime of service.

Our History
We acquired the running board tooling and molds from legendary Hundley Acuff from Rossville, Georgia. Hundley made the original molds back in the 70's and 80's, and he supplied a large variety of restored running boards for multiple makes and models for decades. At that time NOS running boards were still available ensuring the molds were 100% factory correct. At Running Board Resto, we have continued his legacy in supplying re-vulcanized running boards that are indistinguishable from the original art deco patterns.
